The painter Nelė Jurgelionienė lives and works in Kaunas, in Lithuania.
She was studied in Kaunas J. Vienožinskis college in the faculty of pedagogy of fine Arts. She was graduated college with the high honour.
After this studies Nelė has continued her studies at Vilnius University of pedagogy where she has attained the qualification of the fine Arts teacher. At the moment she is working at Kaunas gymnasium.
Nele has been creating more than 20 years. In addition to participating in collaborative exhibitions and workshops, the artists has had multiple individual exhibitions not only in Lithuania, but in Germany, Denmark, Spain, India and Ireland. She has been a coordinator of art workshops for adults and children.
Nelė is working with various techniques: watercolor, pastels, acrylic and oil paint. Each work seems to choose its own technique of performance, which is why it to special. The concept and story changed depending on the point of view the time of the eyes and the mood of the creator herself.
Nele draws ideas for the work from nature, her personal life, adventures, people and well life situations she encounters. Nelė is very grateful to be able to have a profession where she can realizme embody herself.
She is aware of the fact there is no better way to learn than teaching others. It encourages her to go with the times and to strive for her professional excellence.
